Locations:
All CHL classes and shooting range qualifications are to be held at the Eagle Peak Shooting Range unless otherwise announced or alternate sites are selected. Alternate sites are for those clients that request CHL class instruction be held at a client selected location provided by the client(s).
Client selected locations include, without limitation, a private home, businesses, board or conference rooms, office, warehouse, private ranch, or other city.
Private Ranch locations must be inspected by the CHL instructor and certified to comply with local, state and federal applicable laws. The ranch owner must complete and submit an application for a private shooting range to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Once a range number is assigned by the DPS; a range qualification proficiency test can be administered.
